MENALO HOTEL PREMIUM ISTANBUL AIRPORT

Our flight was cancelled and we had to find something close to the aeroport to spend a short night. I am glad we chose Menalo hotel. The place was clean and the staff very friendly and smiling. We were brought to our room in a golf cart by a very pleasant young man. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Go for the burger or meatballs. The rest is overpriced. More than twice the amount for these dishes. I don’t know why. Probably someone who was making a menu was not very aware of the prices of the same things in the rest of the world. Yes, there is no alcohol as the some of the reviews mentioned but that didn’t really bother us. Neither did a reason for it. I don’t know what people mean when they talk about marriage certificates. I was with my husband but the reception had no way of knowing it. We have different surnames and even different nationalities, and no one asked us for anything. Yes, the place is in the middle of nowhere with no stores or anything around and yes, the road is not paved, but we were not charged anything extra by a taxi driver on the way there or back. In short, it was excellent for the purpose we stayed there. If you are going to visit Istanbul, it is far from the city but to spend a night waiting for your flight, it is great.

We were upgraded to a suite, which was so clean and spacious. All of the facilities were very modern and high quality. I was very happy with the huge walk-in shower.

The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stopover. What really stood out to us, however, was the warmth and professionalism of your team, which made a huge difference as I was travelling alone with two children. A special thank you to Metin in the restaurant, whose kindness and attentiveness made our dining experience feel extra special. His friendly manner, especially towards my kids, added a personal touch that we deeply appreciated. It was clear that great care went into both the food and the service. We’re also incredibly grateful to the front desk staff for their support during a very stressful moment. After realizing we had left our Nintendo on the plane, your team went above and beyond to help. Their quick action, persistence, and ability to communicate effectively in both Turkish and English made all the difference. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to recover the device the next day, something we never expected would be possible. We would also like to sincerely thank Ahmet, the driver who picked us up from the airport. Despite a mix-up in the meeting point, he went out of his way to find us with patience and kindness, which made our arrival so much smoother and less stressful. Very beautiful place! Staff was very friendly, helpful, polite, everyone spoke English really well! It helped at lot with all questions we had. Rooms are clean, the porter helped us with the luggage. Every worker was very very nice! It’s not our first time in Turkey and Istanbul, but we were surprised of the amazing level of the hospitality. It was perfect The food in a restaurant was very fresh and delicious
