Our flight was cancelled and we had to find something close to the aeroport to spend a short night. I am glad we chose Menalo hotel. The place was clean and the staff very friendly and smiling. We were brought to our room in a golf cart by a very pleasant young man. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Go for the burger or meatballs. The rest is overpriced. More than twice the amount for these dishes. I don’t know why. Probably someone who was making a menu was not very aware of the prices of the same things in the rest of the world. Yes, there is no alcohol as the some of the reviews mentioned but that didn’t really bother us. Neither did a reason for it. I don’t know what people mean when they talk about marriage certificates. I was with my husband but the reception had no way of knowing it. We have different surnames and even different nationalities, and no one asked us for anything. Yes, the place is in the middle of nowhere with no stores or anything around and yes, the road is not paved, but we were not charged anything extra by a taxi driver on the way there or back. In short, it was excellent for the purpose we stayed there. If you are going to visit Istanbul, it is far from the city but to spend a night waiting for your flight, it is great.

This hotel is located 10 minutes from the Istanbul airport in a sort of a small village. Not much to do in the area, but that's fine. The hotel is like a small resort, with 4 or 5 seperate buidings. To start with, the staff is very friendly and kind! The room was spacious with a nice view on the garden. The bathroom was good and all you need was availible. The bed was comfy and I slept well. Rooms are quiet and you don't hear any planes etc. The diner was also good and well presented. Prices are a bit high (and in Euro's) but the food was good. Breakfast was also good and more than enough. In this hotel alcohol is not being sold, which I personally appreciate. No drunk people and good example for our childeren. To be honest, if you are traveling and need some rest before you flight, it's the place to be.

Several houses in a well-kept garden - beautiful, calm, birds are singing. The restaurant is open late. You will be fed even if your flight in the night. The cuisine by the way is really delicious. The chef is a actually professional. I have been choosing this hotel for several years now if I need to stay in Istanbul for one night. Thanks to the staff of the hotel and restaurant - Hamza, Derman, Semseddin. Polite and hospitable, emotionally warm people.

Best choice for a short stay between flights. 10 minutes drive from Istanbul airport. The area of the hotel is magnificent, next to the forest. The air is filled with pine scents. We had a fantastic dinner. The menu is a mixture of Turkish and European cuisine. The dishes were very tasty. Fresh juices are available. The service in the restaurant was excellent, thank you Hamza. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I didn't remember the name of the receptionist, who is from Turkmenistan, at check in and Jemal and Yunus at check out. Thank you.

I chose this hotel as it is very close to IST airport, pretty and decently priced . I arrived from Cappadocia late and had a very early flight the same day . Staying IN the airport was super expensive in comparison and This hotel offered transportation . It was a great choice as you don’t need to go far into Istanbul, but it is pretty and comfortable . The staff are very nice
